Create a trip and add your stops
Start a trip from a destination, add its stops in nights, and keep ideas, upcoming plans, and past trips in one place.
Three kinds of trips
Every trip in Bonder is one of three kinds, and My Trips keeps them all together:
- Ideas are places you'd like to go someday. They don't need dates yet.
- Planned trips have dates. They show a countdown and move to Past when they're over.
- Past trips are trips you've already taken. Adding one is free, and it fills in your Passport.
Use the filters at the top of My Trips (Active, Upcoming, Ideas, Past, and by year) to find a trip quickly.
Create a trip
- From My Trips, start a new trip.
- Pick a destination. The trip name fills in for you; type your own name if you'd rather.
- Add dates if you have them. Leave them off and it's saved as an idea.
- Add your stops (optional). Planning more than one place? Add each destination in order, measured in nights: Kyoto for three nights, then Osaka for two. You can add or change stops later too.
- Add people (optional). People you've traveled with before show up as suggestions, so you don't have to retype their email.
When the trip opens, its Overview already has a short summary for your destination: highlights, what the season is like, and practical tips to start from.
Edit or delete a trip
Open the trip and choose Edit Trip to change the name, dates, destinations, photo, or preferences. Co-Planners can update the dates too, not just the Organizer.
To delete a trip, go to Edit Trip → Details → Danger Zone. Deleting removes the trip and everything in it, so it's deliberately tucked away.
Try it on a real trip
