Plan your itinerary day by day
Add stays, activities, dining, transport, and notes; mark what's proposed or confirmed; and switch between Timeline, Calendar, and Map.
Add something to the itinerary
Start by searching for the place. Pick a result and its address, map pin, and photo fill in on their own. Every item is one of:
- Accommodation: where you're staying, with check-in and check-out
- Activity: tours, museums, hikes, anything you'll do
- Dining: restaurants, cafés, reservations
- Transportation: flights, trains, rental cars, transfers
- Note: anything that isn't a place, like "pick up the keys at 3"
Each item can hold a date and time, a link, a cost, confirmation details, and comments.
Proposed and Confirmed
Every item is either Proposed (an idea still being decided) or Confirmed (the plan). That's a planning decision, separate from when the item happens.
Confirmed doesn't mean booked. Bonder doesn't make bookings. Book wherever you normally do, then add the confirmation number to the item.
Three ways to see the plan
| View | Best for |
|---|---|
| Timeline | Reviewing the trip day by day, in order. On desktop it's the default, and you can drag an item to another day or move a whole day earlier or later. |
| Calendar | Seeing the whole trip at once. On your phone it's home base: zoom between month and week, and tap a day to see its schedule. |
| Map | Seeing where everything is. On desktop the map sits beside the timeline; on your phone, open Map from the toolbar. |
Items without a time can be dragged into any order within a day. Items with a time stay in time order. Anything without a day yet sits under Day not chosen until you schedule it.
Find things fast
- Search by title, place, notes, confirmation code, airline, or flight number. It works in every view.
- Filter by type (stays, dining, and so on) and by Proposed or Confirmed.
- Compact cards fit a long trip on screen with less scrolling.
Helpful details along the way
- Weather: within 10 days of departure, each day shows the forecast high and low.
- Gaps: Bonder points out a day with no plans, a night with nowhere to stay, or a stretch between stops with no way to get there, so you can fill them in.
- Time conflicts: when two items with set times overlap, both get a badge. It says Time conflict if both are confirmed, or Overlaps if one is still proposed, since that's often two options or the group splitting up. Transport that leaves for the next stop before you've arrived at the current one is flagged too. Tap the badge to see what it collides with. Items without a set time, stays, and anything lasting a day or more, like a rental car, are never flagged.
- Who changed what: items show who added or last edited them.
