Plan Your Trip from Claude or ChatGPT, and See What's Left to Book
October's big one: Bonder now works inside the assistant you already use. The rest of the month went into the small pieces of a trip that are easy to lose track of, like the hotel you meant to confirm, the deposit due next week, or the flight that leaves 25 minutes after the last one lands.
๐ค Bonder, inside Claude and ChatGPT
Connect Bonder to Claude, ChatGPT or Muse, and you can work on your trip from the chat you already have open:
"Find my hotel confirmation in Gmail and add it to my Lisbon trip."
Your assistant reads the email through your Gmail connection and adds the stay to the right nights, with its confirmation number. Bonder never sees your inbox, only what lands on the trip. A few more things you can ask:
- Line up the week's receipts, snap one photo, and ask it to "add these to my expenses." Each receipt becomes its own expense, and ones you've paid can go in already marked paid.
- "What's still missing from this trip?" It finds nights with nowhere to stay, missing legs between stops, days with nothing planned, and too much driving in one day.
- "Is anything double-booked?" It catches overlapping plans and tight connections, the same ones Bonder flags.
- "What do we still owe before we go?" It lists every balance with a due date, soonest first.

It works with the role you have on the trip, so a Viewer can look but not change anything. Ideas it adds start as proposed for the group to weigh in on. It skips anything you've marked Not needed on your to-do list, and it can't make payments or invite people.
Bonder is listed in both Claude's connector directory and ChatGPT's plugin directory: choose Connect or Install plugin, sign in, and approve. For Muse, copy the link from Settings โ Connected assistants. Full setup steps โ
โ A to-do list for everything still open
Your Trips now has a To do list that covers all of your upcoming trips. It shows what's worth doing next:
- Still proposed: nights or flights where the group has options but hasn't picked one. Three hotels for the same nights show up as one row ("Choose a stay ยท 3 options").
- No booking reference saved: a stay or ticket marked confirmed, but with no confirmation number in Bonder.
- Gaps: nights with nowhere to stay, and stops with no way to get there.
- Payments coming due: balances you still owe, with the date.

Each row opens the thing it's about. Booked it some other way? Mark it Not needed for me, or snooze it until later. Undecided flights and cruises show up about 45 days out, and trains and buses about three weeks out, so each one arrives when booking it starts to matter.
โฐ Double-bookings and tight connections, flagged
When two plans with set times overlap, both now carry a label in every itinerary view. It says Time conflict when both are confirmed. It says a softer Overlaps when one is still proposed, since that's often two options being weighed, or the group splitting up for the afternoon. Tap it to see what it collides with.
Flights, trains, buses, ferries and cruises that leave too soon after your previous leg lands get a Tight connection label, with the gap and the usual minimum. Flights get about an hour, trains and buses 10 minutes. A drive or rental car pickup never counts, since it won't leave without you.

๐ฌ Emails worth opening
Bonder now emails Organizers and Co-Planners when something about an upcoming trip is worth sorting:
- Before the trip: up to three emails per trip, only when something new needs attention. That might be a flight still undecided 45 days out, or a booking with no reference a week before.
- Your arrival: in the last few days, the email opens with how you're getting to the first stop and where you're sleeping the first night, and says whether check-in details are saved. Landing at 23:30? Your to-do list suggests saving late check-in details in the stay's notes.
- Payment reminders: give an expense a due date (a rental's final payment, say) and the people who can see it get a reminder 3 days before, plus one more the day after if it's still unpaid. Mark it paid and the reminders stop.
Three days after a trip ends, you'll get a Welcome home email with the Passport stamps the trip earned, new places marked "NEW", and your running totals.
You're in charge of all of it. Settings โ Emails has a switch for trip reminders and one for the welcome home email, and you can turn either back on any time.
๐ Fixes and polish
- An email typed on the create-trip invite step now gets invited even if you skip "Add to Invite List", and the confirmation says which invites actually went out.
- Importing a plan from a long blog post no longer times out, and pages with several versions of a trip (1, 2 or 3 weeks) bring in just the longest one.
- On a two- to four-stop trip, the trip summary now mentions every stop.
- PDF exports show when they were saved, and PDFs and map exports list each day in time order.
- The weather forecast is back on the mobile itinerary, in the Calendar view.
- Editing a flight keeps its departure and arrival times, even across a daylight-saving change.
- Settings is now organized into sections, and Help is in the profile menu.
- Accepting one invitation no longer shows "Accepting..." on all of them.
- On mobile, the map's buttons no longer sit on top of an item you open from it.
- Trip cards say "Starting tomorrow" instead of "Starting in 1 days".
- A broken link now lands on an "Off the map" page with a way back to your trips.
