Invite people and choose what they can do
Invite by email or a shareable link, understand the Organizer, Co-Planner, and Viewer roles, and use the trip feed, comments, and votes.
Invite someone
Invite people by email or with a shareable link, from the trip itself or with one tap from its card on My Trips. People you've traveled with before appear as suggestions.
Invitations have to be accepted, and the person needs a Bonder account to join. Inviting people is free, and with a Trip Pass everyone on the trip gets full access. More about the Trip Pass.
Roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Organizer | Everything: edit the trip's details, manage who's on the trip, and plan. |
| Co-Planner | Help build the plan: edit the itinerary, add expenses, post in the feed, and change the trip dates. |
| Viewer | Follow along. Viewers can see the trip but can't change it. |
Deciding things together
- Trip feed: share links, ideas, and updates on the trip's Overview, with replies that keep each conversation together. It's for updates you read when you're ready, not live chat.
- Comments: comment on a specific itinerary item so the context stays attached to it.
- Votes: vote on itinerary items, so two restaurants for one dinner can be settled by the group.
Leaving a trip
Co-Planners and Viewers can leave a trip on their own at any time. You'll go back to My Trips.
